Zakkyh Jaber

After acquiring over 17 years of experience in the legal field, Zakkyh joined HNK as a practice manager in 2023. She works closely with the HNK partners overseeing administration and operations. Zakkyh cares deeply about client satisfaction and the professional development of the firm’s staff. 

A native Spanish speaker, Zakkyh was born in Lima, Peru and immigrated to the United States as a child. As an immigrant herself, she understands and empathizes with the challenges faced by many clients and their families. Growing up locally, Zakkyh first developed an interest in law after interning for the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, Maryland. 

After graduating from the University of Maryland, Zakkyh began her career as a legal assistant at a law firm in Wheaton, Maryland. Rising through the ranks, she ultimately became head paralegal of the criminal law department. Using the knowledge gained through her valuable professional experience, Zakkyh focuses on enhancing the firm’s internal procedures and culture, ensuring the firm provides superb service to its clients and a fantastic work environment for its employees.
