María Navarro joined HNK in December 2023 as an Intake Receptionist and Administrative Assistant, bringing a well-rounded background in accounting, business administration, and education. In her role, she provides essential support to clients, potential clients, and attorneys. Dedicated to client advocacy, María strives to make every client feel confident in their legal representation, knowing they have a committed team fighting for their success.
Born in Tegucigalpa, D.C., Honduras, María is a native Spanish speaker and fully bilingual in English. She graduated as a Public Accountant and later pursued studies in Business Administration and Pedagogy at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Honduras (UNAH). Her professional career began in Honduras, where she worked as a Public Accountant before transitioning into education as a bilingual academic teacher.
María later broadened her expertise by moving into administrative and client-focused roles, working remotely as an Executive Assistant to the President and Vice President of an insurance agency. In January 2023, she entered the immigration legal field as a Remote Intake Receptionist and Legal Assistant at a Virginia-based law firm. In this role, she gained valuable experience assisting clients through various stages of the immigration process, further deepening her knowledge of legal procedures and client relations.
At HNK, María combines her diverse skill set to provide efficient, compassionate, and high-quality support, ensuring that clients receive the best possible service throughout their legal journey.
