AJOO KIM

Ajoo joined HNK as an associate attorney in 2026. She focuses her practice on removal defense, federal litigation, and business and family immigration matters.
Before joining the firm, Ajoo represented clients before USCIS, the Asylum Office, and in removal proceedings at the immigration courts and the Board of Immigration Appeals. Her litigation experience includes petitions for review, habeas corpus petitions, and writs of mandamus.
Before transitioning to immigration practice, Ajoo worked in public international law and international investment law, including negotiations and proceedings before the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law Working Group III. She also served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Dennis M. Robinson, Jr. of the Baltimore County Circuit Court in Maryland, where she assisted in both civil and criminal trials.
