Since joining HNK in 2026, Lilah serves as a partner primarily focusing her practice on employment-based and family-sponsored immigration. Her two decades of experience practicing exclusively immigration law and previous role as managing partner at another well-respected boutique immigration law firm enable her to effectively navigate complex legal matters on behalf of her clients.

Lilah regularly handles petitions for temporary work visas (H-1Bs, L-1s, O-1s, E-3s, TNs, etc.) and employment-based permanent residence through PERM/labor certifications, national interest waivers, and petitions for multinational executives and managers and those with extraordinary ability. 

Additionally, Lilah possesses skill and proficiency helping nonprofit research organizations and nonprofits affiliated with institutions of higher education file cap-exempt H-1B petitions, shepherding employers through the complexities of the labor certification process and helping companies navigate visa sponsorship and compliance issues.

A leader within the immigration bar, she served on various committees with the DC Chapter of American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and wrote, presented, and taught on employment-based immigration topics. She speaks Spanish fluently and previously lived, worked, and studied extensively throughout Latin America.
