Lilla joined HNK in 2025 as a senior paralegal. Prior to joining HNK, Lilla served as a paralegal in the business immigration practice at Miles & Stockbridge, P.C., where she handled the firm’s narrative and physician immigration cases, including EB-1 extraordinary ability and outstanding researcher petitions, EB-2 national interest waiver petitions, O-1 nonimmigrant petitions, and J-1 waiver applications. She loves learning about her clients’ work and helping them explain their scientific and business contributions to USCIS to support their immigration journeys in the United States. Prior to working in immigration law, she served as a research library fellow for the Consumer Technology Association, cultivating a wealth of experience in tech policy and research that has served her well in her business immigration work.
Having grown up in Houston, England, and Germany as the daughter of a Hungarian immigrant, Lilla understands the complexities of building a life in a new country while navigating cumbersome bureaucracies.
