Yusuf has been practicing immigration law since 2007. He has extensive experience in family-based immigration, removal defense, and business immigration. Yusuf has successfully represented numerous individuals seeking adjustment of status, relief from removal, and naturalization. He has been successful in obtaining H-1B visas for clients, labor certifications (PERM) for both professional and non-professional positions, and responding to PERM audits issued by the Department of Labor. Yusuf has experience with consular processing for both family-based and employment-based immigrant visas.

Yusuf has represented individuals with complex immigration matters involving prior fraud or misrepresentations, criminal history, or removal orders. He has successfully represented individuals in motions to reopen and those seeking waivers with USCIS and the immigration courts.

Prior to joining Hayes Novick Kohn Immigration, Yusuf was the managing partner of Ahmad Immigration Law and before that gained over ten years of experience as an attorney with a boutique immigration firm in the Washington, D.C. metro area. The proud son of immigrants, Yusuf has a personal connection to immigration.

Yusuf is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
