Yalda Hajavi
Yalda Hajavi has been involved in immigration law since 2018. Yalda focuses her practice on obtaining employment-based immigrant visas, waivers of the two-year home residency requirement for J visa holders, naturalization and citizenship, family- and marriage-based immigration matters, and affirmative asylum.
Prior to joining Haynes Novick Immigration, she was an associate attorney in the trial department of the Philadelphia Office of Duane Morris LLP where she also conducted substantial pro bono asylum work.
Yalda is fluent in Farsi and conversational in Italian. Yalda’s personal experience as an immigrant and knowledge of other languages allows her to connect with her clients to better serve and to meet each client’s needs.
Yalda is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and serves as Co-Chair of its Diversity and Inclusion Committee. She is also a member of the Iranian American Bar Association.
