Yalda Hajavi has been involved in immigration law since 2018. Yalda focuses her practice on obtaining employment-based immigrant visas, waivers of the two-year home residency requirement for J visa holders, naturalization and citizenship, family- and marriage-based immigration matters, and affirmative asylum.

Prior to joining Haynes Novick Immigration, she was an associate attorney in the trial department of the Philadelphia Office of Duane Morris LLP where she also conducted substantial pro bono asylum work.

Yalda is fluent in Farsi and conversational in Italian. Yalda’s personal experience as an immigrant and knowledge of other languages allows her to connect with her clients to better serve and to meet each client’s needs.

Yalda is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and serves as Co-Chair of its Diversity and Inclusion Committee. She is also a member of the Iranian American Bar Association.

They filed for my EB immigration case back in 2019. Although there were many inconsistencies in the process due to Trump administration and Covid19 lockdown, They well organized the process. At the time of filing my 485, I had just last week of 2019 to file otherwise the visa bulletin would no longer be current for my case and I remember they assigned two new attorneys to my case to file it in time and fortunately they did it with USCIS on 12/31! ( And obviously they charged my employer for that ) Totally, they are strongly professional and their commitment and responsibility to their clients is outstanding. Moreover, their update knowledge differentiates them from most of other attorneys who have an obsolete knowledge of the immigration law which puts their cases in jeopardy.
