Yalda Hajavi has been involved in immigration law since 2018. Prior to joining Haynes Novick Immigration, she was an associate attorney in the trial department of the Philadelphia Office of Duane Morris LLP where she also conducted substantial pro bono asylum work.
Yalda is a graduate of Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law. Her experience in immigration law includes working as a law clerk and summer associate on immigration cases and as a certified intern at the law school’s Clinic for Asylum, Refugees & Emigrant Services (CARES) where she handled an asylum case in immigration court.
Yalda is fluent in Farsi and conversational in Italian. Yalda’s personal experience as an immigrant and knowledge of other languages allows her to connect with her clients to better serve and to meet each clients’ needs.
Yalda is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and serves as Co-Chair of its Diversity and Inclusion Committee. She is also a member of the Iranian American Bar Association.
